By Bella Frost

Alfred Hitchcock In His Own WordsAudioGO, has today appointed Palamedes to promote the re-release of Hitchcock: In His Own Words, available as a download and CD book.

The agency was selected on account of its ability to secure national media exposure across lifestyle and entertainment.

The audiobook is described as a “fascinating, inspiring and often amusing collection” of archive interviews spanning more than 30 years. Hitchcock reveals the secrets of the making of Psycho and what he really thinks of stars and method actors.

In interviews ranging from 1955 to 1980, the master of suspense talks about his life from ad man to film director, his love of suspense and filming techniques and recalls practical jokes played on his wife.

Its catalogue ranges from modern authors including Andy McNab, John le Carre and Dick Francis, to classic writers such as Agatha Christie, Jane Austen, Arthur Conan Doyle and Bram Stoker.

Rachel Josephson, AudioGO Head of Marketing and Sales said: “Palamedes have an expert understanding of what the national media really want and are fantastic at turning around great news stories quickly.  We are looking forward to working with them.”
