Palamedes PR has today secured key regional coverage for the bestselling author and political campaigner, Neil Blower.
The book PR agency revealed Blower’s connection with the new Armed Forces Community Covenant, a new scheme being introduced by Salford City Council.
Neil, who served with the Royal Tank Regiment in Iraq and Kosovo, has campaigned for the introduction of the Armed Forces Community Covenant since first raising its merits with the council in 2012.
The Covenant encourages charities, local authorities, and individuals to work alongside the military in a bid to provide vital support to serving personnel and their families as well as reservists and veterans.
Local organisations including Greater Manchester Police, The Royal British Legion, and Greater Manchester West Mental Health Trust have already pledged their support.
Speaking yesterday Blower, a Royal Tank Regiment veteran, said he was delighted after seeing the coverage on Salford Online.
He added: “I would like to thank Palamedes PR for its support – they have done a great job, as always.”
A spokesman for Palamedes PR added: “We would like to thank Salford Online for the latest coverage, and we look forward to seeing more media coverage on this topic in coming days.”
