Cal Sarwar, the author, reveals how he infiltrated the Taliban
The agency’s client Cal Sarwar is on the Mail Online following explosive revelations about the research he undertook for his new book.
Cal is understood to be the first person to successfully infiltrate the Taliban – and escape to tell the tale.
The Scottish father-of-three went undercover at an extremist training camp by posing as a disillusioned Muslim with a deep hatred of the West.
After returning to Britain Sarwar has reported his experience to police and he has debriefed counter-terrorism officers with a description of what he encountered.
He said the experience will help him to protect his own children from joining homegrown terror cells, or from becoming ‘lone wolfs’.
He decided to write a fictionalised account of his experiences in a bid to engage with more people and provide insight into the ‘terrorist mind-set and machinery’.
The book – The Cell, The Wolf & The Faith: They Love Death More Than We Love Life – published by E&P, is available now through the book PR agency, Palamedes PR.
See the story on the Mail Online here, or view it in the Book PR Portfolio, here.
More coverage is expected in coming days and will be uploaded to the Palamedes PR website when it becomes available.
