Swim the Big Blue, the record-breaking expedition to swim “every single mile” of the Atlantic Ocean,has re-appointed Palamedes PR to handle publicity during the challenge.
The London PR agency was initially appointed earlier this year to raise awareness of the challenge in the national, regional and trade press.
But it was re-appointed for a secondary PR campaign this week on account of the results and “strategic support” to date.
The appointment means that Palamedes PR, a news-generation specialist, will represent the expedition in the run up to and during the challenge, which officially begins on November 1.
Swimmer Ben Hooper said: “Palamedes PR never promises what it can’t deliver, and this straight-talking, strategic approach to communications was exactly what the team and I were seeking.”
Anthony Harvison, of Palamedes PR, added: “This expedition is an incredible undertaking, and we are proud and delighted to be involved.”
