Palamedes PR, the London PR agency, has been appointed by a technology start-up in the US.
The Mayfair-based agency will handle the brand’s UK and US publicity until September as part of its European launch strategy.
A spokesman for the brand, which designs innovative navigational aids, said the appointment was based on the agency’s “indisputable track record” in the British media.
He said: “Our cutting-edge products require cutting-edge PR, and it made sense to hire a PR agency with an indisputable track record in the UK and international media.”
Anthony Harvison of Palamedes PR, which specialises in news-generation and consumer PR, added: “We are very much looking forward to working with and for this start-up, whose products we believe strongly have strong appeal in both the UK and the United States.”
