Palamedes PR secured key regional coverage for AudioGO in the Cambridge Evening News, it emerged this morning.

The agency’s story about retailers experiencing “unprecedented” posthumous demand for The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy featured in a variety of publications including the CEN.

We revealed how AudioGO sales have soared by 250 per cent in recent weeks in the run-up to ‘Towel Day’, an international annual event to mark the 13th anniversary of writer Douglas Adams’ death on May 25.

Rachel Josephson, from AudioGO, said the sales spike was testament to Cambridge-born Adams’ “lasting legacy” as one of the UK’s best-ever sci-fi writers.

A spokesman for Palamedes PR, the book PR and news-generation specialists, added: “We are grateful to the Cambridge Evening News for its support.”
