The Latvian comedian Gatis Kandis performed an “interesting” stand-up set at the Kennedy’s Chocolate Industry Network event last night.
Dubbed ‘Britain’s funniest un-funny comedian’ by Simon Cowell following his appearance on Britain’s Got Talent earlier this year, Gatis entertained an energetic crowd in central London.
The comedian received mix reviews, but said he was “delighted” to have taken part.
Jon Kirk, Palamedes’ managing director and event publicist, said: “Gatis is the marmite of the comedy circuit – you either love him or hate him. I happen to think he’s a comic genius, and I enjoyed every minute.”
