Ghanaian Historian Urges Gov’t To Apologise For Conscription

Author and historian Dr Robert Peprah-Gyamfi has been featured in the UK’s most popular newspaper for the British African-Caribbean community.

Dr Peprah-Gyamfi, a client of author agency Palamedes PR, has enjoyed exposure in The Voice newspaper for his campaign seeking a formal apology from the British Government for the historic forced conscription of West Africans.

He has launched the West Africa Apology petition to bring “historic restitution” to the thousands of West African men from the former British colonies of Ghana, Nigeria, Sierra Leone and Gambia who were forcefully conscripted into the British Army during World War Two.
