Palamedes PR, the leading book and celebrity PR agency, has generated significant national coverage for long-term client and celebrity chef Gurpareet Bains with a news story revealing his latest creation: the world’s healthiest Christmas dinner.
The story about the ‘Guilt-Free Gala’ – a three-course festive feast with fewer calories than a single bowl of mixed nuts – has been picked up by outlets including the Mail Online, Daily Telegraph and ITV.
The entire meal – which includes turkey with roast potatoes and all the trimmings, a lobster and vegetable starter, and a rich fruit pudding with mascarpone cheese for dessert – contains a total of just 930 calories, over two-thirds less than the classic lunch.
Nutritionist and Indian Superfood pioneer Bains, the best-selling author of cookery books including Indian Superspices, replaced traditional, oily ingredients with healthy superfoods to reduce the meal’s calorific content by 71 per cent.
It also contains just 19 grams of fat – the equivalent of three mince pies or a single serving of cheese and biscuits – is gluten-free, and has more than double the recommended daily number of fruits and vegetables.
