Earlier this week, we reported how our client, Naturally Woodlands, had been nominated for three more industry awards.
Now, it would appear, the development looks set to become one of the most celebrated housing developments in modern Welsh history.
The Grand Designs-style development in Brynna, Rhondda Cynon Taff, was shortlisted for the coveted Best Small Development, Best Architectural Design and Private Development of the Year categories at this year’s First Time Buyer Reader Awards.
The latest nominations bring the development’s accolade tally to five in as many months, following victory at the What House Awards and being named as one of the UK’s Top 10 Investment Hotspots by the Daily Telegraph last year.
Experts now believe Naturally Woodlands – officially home to the best house in England and Wales – could become one of the most celebrated new housing developments in Wales.
Laura Marles, of local estate agents PA Black, said Naturally Woodlands has “well and truly” placed Rhondda Cynon Taff on the international property map, adding: “Naturally Woodlands has somehow managed to deliver exceptional eco-friendly, detached family homes at an affordable price and in a wonderful woodland location.
“Given the attention to detail and its outstanding architectural design, it’s no surprise that Naturally Woodlands has been shortlisted for these new awards.
“But whether the development wins the three new awards or not, it will become, I suspect, one of the best-loved, and most celebrated, private developments of its kind in recent Welsh history.”
A spokesman for Wynndel Property Management, the eco-aware developer behind the Naturally Woodlands development, said: “It’s been a fantastic year for Naturally Woodlands. We’re proud and grateful for the accolades we’ve won, and we’re delighted to have been nominated at the First Time Buyer Reader Awards 2013.
“The Naturally Woodlands development is a new breed of limited-edition, affordable property which rivals anything in the UK for its stunning scenery, architectural design and communication links.
“As such, the latest nominations for the First Time Buyer Reader Awards should be seen as a major coup for Rhondda Cynon Taff the country as a whole.”
A spokesman for Palamedes, which has represented Wynndel Property Management since the spring of 2012, added: “We’re obviously delighted that Wynndel and its developments are receiving the national recognition they deserve.”
The winners of this year’s First Time Buyer Reader Awards will be revealed at a glittering award ceremony at The Landmark Hotel in central London on Friday, 26th April.
