Palamedes PR, the book PR specialists, has been appointed to represent acclaimed author Jane Cable. The agency will be working with Mrs Cable on the promotion of her debut novel, The Cheesemaker’s House.
The work is described as a “gentle romance with a supernatural twist”. It was a finalist in The Alan Titchmarsh Show’s People’s Novelist competition, winning the Suspense & Crime category and reaching the last four out of over a thousand entries.
The judges of the competition, including Jeffrey Archer, praised the book and compared Cable’s writing to that of best-selling novelist Barbara Erskine, author of acclaimed works such as The Warrior’s Princess and Time’s Legacy.
A spokesman for Palamedes PR, one of the UK’s leading book PR agencies, said: “We are delighted to be representing Jane. Her novel, The Cheesemaker’s House, is a gripping read that has already received high praise and is deserving of a wider audience, which is where we come in.”
