Palamedes PR receives the “hallmark of PR excellence” from the PRCA
Palamedes PR has received the “hallmark of PR excellence” after being awarded the Communications Management Standard (CMS).
Combining elements of ISO9001 and Investors in People with criteria specific to a PR consultancy, the CMS is the default quality mark for PR, used by the best PR consultancies and in-house departments in 17 countries around the world.
The accreditation, issued by the Public Relations Consultants Association (PRCA), followed a rigorous audit process last week, which involved every area of the consultancy being analysed for efficiency, productivity and best practice. According to the PRCA, accreditation is “proof you have a well-run business, with all the correct systems and structures in place”.
How do our clients benefit from CMS?
You will have peace of mind you are buying a professional service from a PR company that’s committed to excellence.
You will have the assurance that all CMS-accredited PR agencies are well-run businesses that adopt best practices in all areas of their organisation.
No PRCA member agency can rest on their laurels once they’ve attained the CMS standard. Accredited agencies are continually assessed and have a formal review every two years, where they are rigorously tested by an independent auditor.
Audits are carried out by Redfin, the leading provider of Finance, Human Resource, and Business Growth Consulting services to owner- managed businesses in the creative, media and technology industries.
Jon Kirk, the managing director of Palamedes PR, said: “For us, the CMS ‘stamp’ proves what we and our clients already knew – that we excel in all areas of the PR marketplace and strive to deliver impeccable service and quality at every turn.
“I trust that this benchmark of excellence gives our clients, and our new customers, additional peace of mind that they are and will be represented by a PR consultancy that is committed to – and achieves – excellence. We are very grateful to Redfin and to the PRCA for providing us with the tools and guidance we need to maintain best practice.”
