Palamedes PR has secured brand exposure for the Bath-based audiobook publisher, AudioGO, in a key regional title.

The agency’s story about AudioGO’s ‘Stand Up and Get Heard’ contest, which aims to find the best unknown comedy talent, secured coverage in The Bath Chronicle.

To enter AudioGO’s Stand Up and Get Heard contest, send an MP3 of your short stand-up routine or sketch to AudioGO, and it will be uploaded to its Facebook page. The best routine, as decided by AudioGO, will win two tickets to see a comedy show at the Pleasance Theatre during the Edinburgh Festival, as well as train fares and overnight accommodation in Edinburgh – a package valued at over £400.

In addition, the top three entrants will also be given the opportunity to visit the AudioGO studios in Bath, where they will have their sketch professionally recorded.

The content – devised by AudioGO and Palamedes PR in order to highlight AudioGO’s sponsorship of the Pleasance Theatre at this year’s Edinburgh Festival – is also running live on The British Comedy Guide.
