Green Dog Food, a luxury dog food brand based in Downham Market, Norfolk, appointed Palamedes PR on account of its credentials, client base and journalistic experience. The family-run company sought representation of the highest standard in order to support its drive for national publicity and consumer recognition. Our work focused upon coverage in both consumer and trade titles as part of an aligned digital and social media campaign.
Green Dog Food contains no added synthetic vitamins and minerals and helps dogs to protect themselves against internal and external parasites and is rich is naturally-occurring nutrients. It was crucial that these USPs were effectively disseminated to both trade and consumer titles. We also concentrated upon social media and digital content.
Our work generated in excess of 60 page leads in respected and/or leading trade and consumer titles, on a regional, national level and international level, and across print, broadcast and online platforms. We also secured newspaper columns and thought-leader articles, conducted market research, and significantly enhanced the brand’s UK exposure. We were, furthermore, instrumental in the creation of the world’s most expensive dog food – a £200-per-bag treat containing lobster and caviar – and helped launch other new products.
