Palamedes PR was appointed by author Jon Lawrence in June 2017 to promote his new novel ‘The Jack Newton Radio’. We were tasked with securing regional and lifestyle exposure for the author and title.

The author wrote the novel in part based on his own life experiences dealing with loss. We drew upon his experiences when engaging with the media, as well as upon the novel’s setting in Pembrokeshire. We also arranged competitions to win copies of tThe Jack Newton Radio and secured book reviews to bring the  novel to readers’ attention.

This regional book PR campaign secured exposure in the Western Telegraph, Pembrokeshire Life, Pembrokeshire Herald and Penarth Life, as well as Female First, Lovereading and 50 Connect among others. Each of the editorial products we created achieved 100% coverage with a combined reach of over four million.
