The Samaritans appointed Palamedes PR to promote ‘Feel Good Friday’, a new fundraising initiative. The agency was among a number of PR firms from across the UK that were tasked with raising awareness of the initiative. Each PR firm was also tasked with securing the support of one or more celebrities.

Our PR campaign was kindly supported by Noel Edmonds who lent his support to the initiative. Having photographed Noel at his home in Bristol, we created compelling news copy that we knew would engage with regional audiences. We also created a media invitation, secured the support of lcoal businesses and, retrospectively, shot a quick video of the Palamedes PR team busking in central Bristol – Busking

Our PR campaign generated crucial column inches across Bristol and the West Country, including the Bath Chronicle, Western Daily Press, Evening Post, This is Somerset, and others. The Samaritans included Noel’s involvement in its own press release, too.

We do everything within our power to support worthwhile causes, often for a significantly reduced fee or without levying one at all, and we were pleased to orchestrate such a memorable regional PR campaign.
