Bill Deane, the bestselling American author, has embarked on a nationwide US book tour following the “quite overwhelming” success of our book PR campaign.
The former CBS news anchor was last week invited to give a book signing and lecture in the Books and Books store in Coral Gables, one of the most affluent suburbs in Miami, Florida.
On Saturday, he gave a speech at the Writer’s Colony in the Palm Beach area. The talk, which included a Q&A session and panel discussion, lasted for more than 90 minutes.
All audience members bought signed copies of Smooth Criminal – his explosive new book about JFK, the CIA, and Castro.
Yesterday morning, Deane was invited to do yet another radio show interview.
The exposure Deane continues to receive follows the success of our book PR campaign. The agency, which specialises in news generation, drafted a publication-ready story about Bill Deane’s book which appeared on various international platforms.
Jon Kirk, the agency’s managing director, said: “I’m delighted to hear that Mr Deane’s book tour is going so well. We look forward to working with Mr Deane in coming months.”
Our story about Smooth Criminal can be read in full, here.
