7Days, the Dubai-based newspaper, has run an interview with the adventurer Alex Flynn, it emerged this afternoon.
Alex, who was diagnosed with Parkinson ’s disease in 2008, is among the UK’s most respected endurance athletes.
The 7Days interview, which will reach a readership in excess of 240,000, includes a synopsis of his feats to date, and highlights his next gruelling challenge – a 2,100-mile Pacific row in June this year.
By completing the voyage Alex, together with his co-rower Darren Taylor, a firefighter from Oxfordshire, he will set a new world record whilst raising money for The Parkinson’s Trust and The Firefighter’s Charity.
