Dear Millie, the inspirational true story of a young girl’s fight with cancer, has started to receive media attention in the build-up to its publication.

Millie Previero, pictured above with parent Vanessa and Marco, was rushed to hospital after losing complete vision in her right eye, and most in her left one, where an MRI scan showed a tumour the ‘size of a golf ball’ on her brain. She was admitted to Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) where experts informed the family that there was only a two in three chance she would pull through.

After a number of high-risk operations to the brain, and seven months of cancer treatment, Millie has been in remission since November 2013, and is on the road to recovery.

Dear Millie is dad Marco’s emotional diary of events. It hits the shelves on March 28th.
