Latest book PR success story – Dr Linda Parker

The Times, Daily Mirror and Daily Express are among the coverage secured for author client Dr Linda Parker

Our latest book PR success story is now live, providing an overview of the coverage secured for historian and author Dr Linda Parker

Further to a campaign promoting an earlier book, A Seeker After Truths, we were re-appointed by Dr Parker to generate publicity for her latest title, Nearer My God to Thee: Airborne Chaplains in the Second World War.

We worked with Dr Parker,  a specialist on Army chaplaincy in both world wars, to develop a news story about how a Scottish vicar may have been the inspiration for the famed WW2 Great Escape.

Dr Parker's latest book, Nearer My God to Thee, examines the full story of the army chaplains who accompanied the airborne forces to all theatres of war between 1942-1945.

The news story secured significant national exposure, with placements in the Daily Express, Daily Mirror, The Times and Daily Star.

There was also a raft of Scottish press exposure, including with The Scotsman, Daily Record and Herald Scotland.
