The BBC is among the coverage secured for young adult author Paul OGarra
Our latest book PR success story is now live, providing an outline of the coverage secured for young adult (YA) author Paul OGarra.
We were appointed by Spain-based author Mr OGarra to generate publicity for his second novel, Malak Desert Child.
We worked with the client, who publishes independently, to highlight the novel to a family audience, and to share his concerns about teenage addiction to digital devices at the expense of reading.
Our campaign included a news-led radio pitch, based on an especially-commissioned survey, that found that fewer than one in 10 British teenagers read for pleasure. You can read the full findings of the survey here.
This generated radio interviews with the likes of BBC Radio Humberside and United Christian Broadcasters (UCB) among others.
Other coverage included an exclusive thought-leader placement on Reader’s Digest, a book review on The Scotsman and a spotlight piece on the EuroWeekly News.
