Multi award-winning author Julie Hodgson praises book PR agency Palamedes
Our latest book PR testimonial, from multi award-winning author Julie Hodgson, is now online.
Julie, who has published more than 25 books over the space of a three-decade career, has won a number of prestigious awards including a Wishing Shelf Book Award.
Multi award-winning author Julie Hodgson appointed Palamedes to promote her latest two books, novel ‘Carry On Singing: Quarantine Choir’ and poignant novella ‘Purple Moons and Coffee Spoons’.
‘Carry On Singing: Quarantine Choir’ is author Julie Hodgson’s 25th published book and was inspired by her experiences joining virtual choirs during the Covid lockdown.
The author, who is based in Portugal and published through Chave AB, previously appointed Palamedes in 2017 to promote her critically-acclaimed children’s novel, Jodie and the Library Card.
Speaking about our campaign, which resulted in media placements including Reader’s Digest, Female First, and The Scotsman, Julie said: “I have now been represented by Palamedes on two occasions, and I fully intend to work with them again in the future.
“The agency is everything an author could ask for, providing an outstanding level of service and dedication to its clients. The team was always on hand to offer strategic advice and guidance, and to ensure that all editorial was perfectly polished prior to publication.
“The coverage guaranteed meant that there were no uncertainties about receiving exposure and, thanks to the resulting media coverage, I was contacted by a national BBC station for an interview.
“If you want to see results then contact Palamedes.”
