Palamedes PR is handling the promotion of author Paul Carroll's new novel, 'Don't Ask'.
Book PR specialist Palamedes PR is pleased to be representing author Paul Carroll concerning the promotion of his latest novel.
Set to be published in paperback and eBook formats on 28th April through Matador, Don’t Ask is a whodunnit with a difference.
When Elsa Watson takes a DNA ancestry test out of idle curiosity she little imagines the devastating consequences she is about to unleash. Two families become reluctantly entwined as inconvenient truths and long-suppressed memories resurface.
Paul Carroll was inspired to write his latest novel, warning against the risks of home DNA testing kits, after a real-life incident involving his late mother-in-law.
Don’t Ask is the fourth novel by author Paul Carroll and will be published in print and eBook formats on 28th April.
Visiting the glam rock Seventies, Britpop, Operation Yewtree and #metoo within its alternating past and present chapter structure, in dramatic and unexpected fashion the novel underlines the truth in the expression ‘be careful what you wish for’.
Don’t Ask is Carroll’s fourth novel following A Matter of Life and Death (Matador, 2012), Written Off (Matador, 2016), and Trouble Brewing (Matador, 2017).
The inspiration for the novel’s storyline concerning the perils of home DNA testing kits comes from a real-life incident where Carroll’s late mother-in-law discovered to her shock through such a kit that she had been a ‘left-behind war baby’.
