Book PR agency Palamedes will be promoting two music titles on rare jazz records and The Clash co-founder Mick Jones
Book PR agency Palamedes has been appointed by Eleusinian Press to promote two of their music titles.
The consultancy will be working with the indie publisher to bring national attention to ‘Lost In The Vaults – Rare collectables and forgotten gems from the Jazzwise archives’ by Daniel Spicer, and ‘Mick Jones – Stayin’ In Tune: The Unofficial Biography‘ by Mick O’Shea.
Lost In The Vaults collects together music journalist Spicer’s popular monthly columns in Jazzwise magazine, detailing rare recording that have long been out of print and “languishing in the doldrums of unavailability”.
This coffee-table book faithfully reproduces all of the columns, which ran from 2006 until 2019, to provide an accessible guide for collectors. Pricing details, however, have been updated as well as information provided on any subsequent CD reissues.
Mick Jones – Stayin’ In Tune provides an insightful biography into The Clash’s lead guitarist and principle songwriter, who also founded influential beatbox rockers Big Audio Dynamite and, later, Carbon Silicon.
