Book publicity specialists Palamedes reappointed by Francois Graftieaux, who claims he is the grandson of King Edward VIII
Book PR agency Palamedes PR has been reappointed by Francois Graftieaux to bring further public attention to his sensational claim to be related to royalty.
Frenchman Mr Graftieaux made headlines around the world last October with his assertion that he is the secret grandson of King Edward VIII.
The explosive claims are made in his book The King’s Son, written by author J.J. Barrie and released through Custom Book Publications.
Our first campaign for Mr Graftieaux generated extensive national and international media exposure including the Daily Mirror, Daily Express, The Sun, Metro, Tribuna, El Confidencial, Nach Welt and News.De, among many others.
Retired hotelier Mr Graftieaux says that his late father, Pierre-Édouard, was the secret lovechild of his grandmother, Marie-Leonie Graftieaux, a French seamstress, and Edward VIII, who abdicated the throne in 1936.
His claim is based on “compelling” evidence including a DNA test and, if correct, it would mean that he is a first cousin once removed to Queen Elizabeth II.
Mr Graftieaux, however, has “absolutely no interest” in titles, land or
compensation. He is instead looking for closure and for the history books to be “rewritten as necessary” to reflect his family’s place in the sovereignty’s lineage.
