Author Christopher Stoakes has featured in leading student publication Student Times following research into the average time graduates spend researching a potential new role.
Mr Stoakes, the best-selling author of Commercial Awareness, commented on a new study showing that the typical British graduates spends twice as long getting suited and booted for a job interview as they do researching the position.
In all, the average graduate dedicates 82 minutes to pre-interview pampering but just 38 minutes preparing for an interview.
The Student Times is distributed to universities and colleges across the UK and its website attracts nearly 14,000 unique visitors per month.
