    Words for the Wounded raises money for injured servicemen and women

The winners of this year’s prestigious Independent Author Award, the annual writing contest organised by charity Words for the Wounded and sponsored by Palamedes PR, have been revealed.

Jane Cable, the author of the acclaimed novel The Cheesemaker’s House, won first place, while No Stranger to Death by Janet O’Kane, and Man, Dog, Stroke by Eric Sinclair came in second and third respectively.
