Coronavirus employment law app launched to help workers protect their rights

Monaco Solicitors launches first-of-its-kind coronavirus employment law app to protect employee rights

A British legal firm has launched an employment law app for workers affected by the coronavirus pandemic.

The new web-based app from Monaco Solicitors has been designed to provide up-to-date legal advice on employee rights during the current crisis.

Designed both for blue-collar and white-collar workers, the free app provides tailor legal letters for workers to pass to their employers. Users simply need to choose the situation that applies to their specific case and fill in the personalised fields that follow.

London-based Monoco Solicitors specialises in employment law and exclusively represents employees.

Founder Alex Monaco says that they have launched the app in response to a high volume of coronavirus-based employment law enquiries from workers unsure about their rights during these unprecedented times.

It is aimed at those who are facing a variety of employment challenges including being forced to attend non-essential work in a physical location; being dismissed or made redundant; and being sent home with no pay.

As well as receiving a tailored letter, those using the app also receive a complimentary advice email from Monaco Solicitors setting out their rights and the negotiation tactics to use to stay safe, retain their jobs and get paid.
