Irish theologian and author Dr Niamh Middleton, has been interviewed on BBC Radio Wiltshire about her concerns that the Catholic Church in Ireland has lost support among millennials.
Dr Middleton, who appointed book PR agency Palamedes PR to promote her new non-fiction popular science book, Homo Lapsus, spoke on the station’s popular Sunday morning faith show, with presenter Jonathan Fido.
In the interview, which is available to stream on the BBC Sounds website for the next 30 days, she told Jonathan how she believes that the Catholic Church is facing a “generational crisis” in Ireland as increasing numbers of young people struggle to reconcile their religious beliefs with Church teachings on sexuality.
