Mark my words: dyslexia is a gift, not a curse

Dyslexia campaigner and author Karl de Leeuw has contributed an exclusive guest article to one of the UK’s most popular digital lifestyle titles.

Karl, author of The Dyslexia Code, has written for Female First about why society’s perceptions of the condition should shift from viewing it as a curse and more as a gift.

In the article, which you can read in full here, he argues that a raft of high-profile dyslexics, including Sir Richard Branson, belie the notion that it is a mental impediment to be “corrected”.

Karl, who is dyslexic and has a daughter with the condition, also talks about his vision for an annual International Celebration of Dyslexia event to inspire dyslexics and press for societal changes.
