Author, trauma survivor and human rights campaigner JH Morgan has written an exclusive guest article about the impact of the #MeToo movement in southern Africa.
Morgan, who is originally from South Africa but who now lives in Eswatini, says that while the #MeToo movement has become a global phenomenon, in Africa it has been “less of a wave and more of a tiny ripple, barely felt by some and completely ignored by most”.
