Palamedes generates national exposure for Jasmine Birtles charity fundraiser event

Palamedes PR has secured national exposure for consumer finance champion Jasmine Birtles on leading news site Yahoo Finance.

The website, which attracts more than 11.6million unique visitors per month, covered a news story about comments by Jasmine on charity fundraising adventure holidays and treks.

The founder of and long-term agency client spoke out such activities as climbing a mountain, running a marathon or leaping out of a plane, describing these common fundraising activities as “self-gratuitous adventures” that serve no purpose to society.

Birtles, a regular guest on BBC News and ahighly-regarded authority on personal finance, argues that those wishing to support good causes should instead focus their energy on doing something useful for the community.

Birtles is planning to lead by example by staging a sponsored event in which she, and a group of volunteers, will redecorate a children’s nursery in Bayswater, London.

Birtles is now calling for volunteers to get involved and lend their support to the nursery project, which takes place between Friday 18th July and Sunday 20th July.

She hopes to raise £10,000 for the charity whilst simultaneously creating a fully redecorated and refurnished nursery for deprived families.
