Book PR agency Palamedes PR has been appointed by author Anuranjita Kumar to promote her new non-fiction book, Colour Matters?
Ms Kumar is a human resource veteran who has been recognised as among the ‘Most Powerful Women Leaders’ by Fortune India and who was named ‘HR Professional of the Year’ by ABP Star News and HRD Congress in 2015. She has held a variety of senior human resources roles in Asia, North America and Europe, and is currently the managing director of human resources with RBS International.
Both professionally and personally, she has a keen interest in issues related to cross-border migration, diversity and racism. Her new book, which is set to be published through Bloomsbury, explores how the colour of a person’s skin can influence the way that they are treated within society, positively and negatively. The book highlights the difficulties that minorities face and shares a wealth of stories from individuals across continents and multi-ethnic, multi-professional backgrounds about their experiences of racism.
Colour Matters? is her second book through Bloomsbury, following 2015’s Can I Have it All?, which documented the trials and triumphs of her journey through the corporate landscape.
