Technology journalist and author Ryan Weeks has spoken on radio about his fears over how disruptive technology could claim tens of millions of jobs.
Weeks, the author of satirical novel Pimple, which focuses on the social impact of a new app described as the “Uber for the sex industry”, appeared on a number of stations last week including BBC Radio Merseyside and Siren FM.
He discussed his concerns that only the rich will reap the benefits of the digital revolution – unless something is done to ensure those benefits are spread more evenly.
