Radio Interviews for Ioakim Eleftheros

Author and mental health campaign Ioakim Eleftheros has warned that UK schools are leaving themselves vulnerable to US-style massacres because teachers are incapable of spotting symptoms of mental illness among their pupils.

Eleftheroes, a client of author PR agency Palamedes who shared his own experiences of battling mental illness in candid memoir Angel of Islington, has spoken about his concerns on British radio stations including Meridian FM, Metro Radio and SFM.

He believes that the government must do more to help teachers learn how to spot ‘red flag behaviours’ such as anger, irritability, persistent sadness ad withdrawal.

They should also have extra powers to refer at-risk students for immediate psychiatric assessment before they have the chance to injure themselves or others, he said.

Palamedes provides a range of guaranteed book PR services to meet authors’ needs. You can also learn more about what to expect with a PR campaign over at our our FAQ page. Feel free to contact our team HERE any time during working hours to discuss representation.
