Palamedes PR was appointed by the Italian hospitality and property firm Absolutely Abruzzo to raise awareness of this beautiful region of central Italy in the UK national media.
The agency created a variety of editorial products as part of this international property PR/tourism PR campaign, which included the story of the medieval village – complete with seven houses, a shepherd’s shelter and a church – that was up for sale for the price of a one-bedroom flat in central London. Nestled in an area of outstanding natural beauty in the foothills of Abruzzo National Park, it offered the perfect Mediterranean escape. Among the properties included in the sale were an 11th-Century Catholic church and the ruins of an ancient shepherd’s hut.
Publicity was secured nationally and internationally in both traditional news and property/tourism platforms. Coverage variously included pieces on Better Property, Italian Property Consultant, The Daily Telegraph, The Daily Edge, CNBC International, Huffington Post (later), and The Move Channel.
“A great property PR campaign that delivered on its expectations”
This project-based tourism PR/property PR campaign was short, sweet and effective. It was a pleasure to have been involved.
