Palamedes PR was appointed by Christian author Ann Shakespeare in May 2019 for a campaign to promote her Christian lifestyle guide, God’s Gift of Tremendous Power. We were tasked with creating a new website to promote Ann’s book and author brand; securing x3 guaranteed thought-leader articles with Q&As; a guaranteed in-depth feature; and guaranteed nationwide book review with accompanying profile and Q&A interview. We also prepared and distributed a non-guaranteed press release and column pitch, offered as complimentary services.

The Consultancy delivered the following services to support the Client’s aims:

  • We designed, built and launched a responsive and SEO-optimised website, incorporating a graphically-designed logo
  • Working with the Client, we devised angles for the thought-leader articles and proofed/edited her draft copy
  • We drafted an in-depth feature about the Client’s life and writing journey
  • We prepared a compelling book review and profile piece
  • We devised interview questions for the Q&As, and proofed/edited the Client’s answers
  • We prepared a compelling, graphically-designed column pitch and distributed it to agreed UK-based Christian publications
  • We, likewise, prepared a graphically-designed press release about the Client’s book, which was distributed to an agreed list of UK-based Christian publications

The God’s Gift of Tremendous Power campaign secured the following exposure:

  • Placement of the syndicated book review, profile and Q&A interview on 150 Johnston Press regional news websites including flagship titles The Scotsman and the Yorkshire Post
  • Placement of the approved thought-leader articles on Female First, Stories.SWNS and The Church of England Newspaper
  • Placement of the feature on The London Economic
  • An additional thought-leader opportunity with Premier Christianity
  • A regular column with The Church of England Newspaper
