Palamedes PR was appointed by author Annabel Fielding in November 2016 to promote her debut novel, The Pearl and the Carnelian. We were tasked with securing targeted exposure within the national, literary and lifestyle media.
The novel deals, among other things, with the theme of the rise of fascism in the 1930s. We used this as a central hook, comparing that era with events of the present day, and presented the author as an expert on the subject to generate media interest. We also looked to secure reviews for the novel and author.
This book PR campaign secured strong national exposure. Placements were generated in the Huffington Post UK, Litro, Bella and Female First. Further placements were secured on Lovereading. Each of the editorial products we created achieved 100% coverage with a combined reach of over 14million.
