Palamedes PR was appointed by Hurst Media in early 2016 to ensure that the profile of Calibre Quarterly Magazine, its upmarket publication for the over-55s, received consistently high and positive volumes of media coverage. Specifically, we were tasked with securing publicity within the national and international print and digital media.
We focused our efforts on the cover star, Brian Blessed. A number of editorial products were created that we knew would resonate with the media and with the public.
This four-week long consumer PR campaign made headlines around the world, and had the potential of reaching well in excess of 1billion readers nationwide based upon publicly-available circulation and unique user figures. Each of the editorial products we created achieved 100% coverage.
