Palamedes PR was appointed by Crunch Accounting for a B2B PR campaign and was tasked with bringing the organisation to the attention of various small business audiences through positive and widespread trade press coverage.
We conducted market research in order to establish what percentage of small British businesses, if any, lacked basic accountancy skills. We found that 29 per cent of small business owners were “clueless” about tax, and that one-in-three keep “lousy” books. This formed the basis of our lead story.
Our work generated positive page leads in key target media including Bloomberg, Business Week, and many more. See all coverage in our B2B PR Portfolio at the foot of this case study.
This results of this project-based B2B PR campaign were based upon a hunch that we were able to verify through market research. It shows that effective B2B PR campaigns – often derided for their staid, safe press releases – require the same creative and professional approach as those within our sectors.
