Palamedes PR was re-appointed by the actor and musician, Chris Guard, following an earlier brand building campaign. The agency was tasked with the UK-wide promotion of Guard’s new band, Leapfrogtown.
It was vital that this music PR campaign generated exposure for the band in print, broadcast and digital mediums, and within the music, national and regional media.
We created great, unique content for the national media, provided lifestyle and regional publications with compelling news copy, and set-up interviews with a number of BBC radio stations.
We also drew on the involvement of Russell Grant and Casualty actress Catherine Shipton, both of whom featured in the band’s latest music video.
We hit (and exceeded) the brief by generating positive exposure in the national, regional and music press. The national coverage also included the band’s music video and hyperlinks, while all broadcast interviews also played the group’s track.
