Palamedes PR was appointed in September 2018 by Australian author M. C. D. Etheridge to promote his new children’s book, Whitebeard. We were tasked with reaching out to the UK media to secure a guaranteed syndicated nationwide book review with an accompanying Q&A interview and three guaranteed thought-leader articles.
The Consultancy delivered the following services to support the Client’s aims:
- We developed thought-leader articles based on the wider themes of the client’s book
- We prepared a draft book review and Q&A interview questions orientated around the themes of the book
The Whitebeard campaign secured the following exposure:
- Thought-leader, placements with Female First, Stories.SWNS and Frost Magazine
- Syndicated placement of the book review and Q&A interview on 137 Johnston Press regional news websites including flagship titles The Scotsman and the Yorkshire Post
Each of the editorial products we created achieved 100% coverage with a combined reach of approximately 38 million. (This figure is based on the unique monthly visitor figures of websites).
