Palamedes PR was appointed by diet expert Sammy Pepys in May 2016 to promote his book Fat is our Friend. We were tasked with securing exposure within the national and lifestyle media.
To promote the book and position the client as a diet expert we devised a national news story based around the client’s findings into the health benefits of a high-fat, low-carbs diet, with the news hook of the classic British fry-up being the most healthy meal of th day. We also looked to secure book reviews and exclusive thought-leader opportunities.
This book PR campaign secured good national exposure. Placements were generated in the Daily Mirror and My Weekly, among other target media. Each of the editorial products we created achieved 100% coverage with a combined reach of over 100million.
