Saffire Handmade Chocolates, the family-run firm behind the world’s most expensive Mother’s Day treat, is being filmed by ITV Anglia today.
A film crew is expected to visit the company’s Norfolk studios this afternoon. It is understood that Gary Funnell, the brainchild of the edible £700 ‘Saffire Slipper’, will be interviewed.
The footage is expected to be aired on ITV Anglia tonight or tomorrow.
A spokesman for Palamedes, which has represented Saffire Handmade Chocolates since last year, sadi: “I’m very pleased that ITV Anglia is showing its support. This is a wonderful family-run business which deserves all the media attention it can get.”
