Book PR agency Palamedes has been appointed by author Sierra Ernesto Xavier to promote his forthcoming second novel. 

The consultancy will be generating media exposure for Distortion, a novel that has already been acclaimed as “brave, original, thoroughly well developed and brilliantly well conceived”.

The novel, which has been compared to the work of French novelist Marguerite Duras, is described as a story about “disfigurement, intimacy, and trauma”.

It follows Xavier’s debut novel, The Malady of Love, published in 2012, which received critical acclaim for laying bear the “intensity of a personal relationship.
