The SmartWater Group founder & former former covert operations specialist says advances in technology will mean no crime goes unpunished within 30 years
There has been national news coverage for tech entrepreneur and author Phil Cleary, who says no crime will go unsolved by 2055, with AI-powered robots detecting even the
smallest fragments of evidence and pinpointing suspects almost instantly.
According to Phil, a former covert police officer who went on to found pioneering forensic tech company The SmartWater Group, technology will be so advanced within 30 years that every crime will be solved by machines within seconds.
While it might sound like something out of science-fiction, rapid advancements in AI and technology will make the perfect crime virtually impossible by 2055. he says.
The cops of tomorrow will deploy AI-powered robots to sweep crime scenes with “microscopic precision”.
Unlike today’s Scenes of Crime Officers (SOCOs), who sometimes miss vital clues because of fatigue or pressure, the “forensic bots” won’t miss a thing because of their laser-like accuracy.
They will spot the barest traces of fibres, blood spots, fingerprints, and DNA left by the offender.
National coverage for Phil, who is also the author of acclaimed thriller Elixir, has included the Daily Star.
