Seasoned TV writer and producer turned children's author Ian Brown has further BBC radio interviews

Seasoned TV writer and producer Ian Brown has been interviewed on further BBC radio stations about his new career as a children’s picture book author.

In a glittering career spanning three decades, Ian has variously written, researched and produced for some of the UK’s best-loved and most popular shows including This is Your Life, Top Gear and The South Bank Show.

During that time he has worked with a who’s who of celebrities including the likes of Harrison Ford, Oliver Reed, George Lucas, Jeremy Clarkson, Simon Cowell and Martin Scorsese.

But after more than 30 years in TV, Ian has fulfilled his lifetime ambition by becoming a children’s book author.

Ian Brown and Hugg 'n' Bugg books
Seasoned TV writer and producer Ian Brown has realised a 30-year ambition by becoming a children’s picture book author. In addition to the already established Albert the Tortoise series of books, Ian has just launched the Hugg ‘n’ Bugg series, featuring a yeti and mountain flea.
Albert and his books
Ian Brown’s celebrated Albert the Tortoise series of children’s picture books, which feature artwork by acclaimed animation director Eoin Clarke, are published through Graffeg, and are inspired by Ian’s real-life pet of the same name.

His delightful Albert the Tortoise picture books, published by Graffeg Limited, have become nationwide bestsellers with fans around the world, including celebrities such as Paul Whitehouse and Jeremy Clarkson.

To mark the publication of the latest Albert the Tortoise book, Albert in the Air, Ian has spoken with a host of BBC stations including BBC Radio Leeds, Derby and Merseyside.

And in the last week he has been interviewed by BBC Radio Shropshire and BBC Radio Newcastle.
